So today we are going to talk about 10 cars launched in 2025 that failed to win hearts.
Some names will shock you.
Some cars failed due to fate, and some because of silly decisions- It’s not a roast — it’s just the truth, and a fun one.
Citroën C3
This car came and people literally said — “Bhai ye hatchback hai ya SUV?” Design stretched, plastic cladding weird, stance confusing.
Touchscreen was big but lagged like an old Android. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were there — but basic features like auto climate control missing.

Mileage real ~15 kmpl but company said 19. Customers said — logic nahi, toh purchase nahi.
Sales barely around 3500 units and honestly, new brand + confusing design = tough trust.
Maruti Ciaz
Old school charm, but world moved on, but it has lost this place in the car owner heart, Design still plain, simple, safe, but excitement zero.

Engine is smooth, mileage great ~20 kmpl, but features old and It didn’t evolve, market moved ahead, and Ciaz stayed classic — but too classic and around 5000 units and the chapter feels closed.
Hyundai Tucson
Design bold, interiors premium, ADAS, panoramic roof, dual screens… everything solid.
Engine powerful, drive smooth.

But pricing went flying high. Good car, wrong price, India said “thoda calm ho jao and it has only sold upto ~4200 units and that’s it.
Maruti Jimny
There is no doubt that It is one of the best car when it comes to looks It really looks very cute and boxy, off-roading DNA strong, simple interior.
Not only that but it also has a decent engine But the mileage was not so good But the price And the expectation of the car owners does not match.

And the main reason this car does not able to make a name in the market is because it is high costly As per the audience expectation and the feature they are providing at the specific price And as a result it only sold Up to 7000 units.

Comparing It with the other car out there at the same rain it provides fewer features than the computer at the same price And in fact the service cost was also too heavy.
Overall people loved the brand aura But their wallet did not support and as a result it only sold up to 6500 unit And feel like it never existed in the market.
Citroën Basalt
This brand has done Something unique their styling was great unique but again it has created a lot of confusion among the car owners Feature was as expected like C3.

MG Gloster
It is one of the boldest look car launched in the market With endless loaded feature the presence was also huge But the fuel consumptions was too heavy And from my experience it is also too big for the Indian usage.

Toyota Hilux
This one of the car which is like a beast machine But it is not suited for the Indian lifestyle It has a massive road presence raw power pickup But interior is simple mileage is low and the price is too high.
